What is an Irish House passport?
At each event during Irish Week, earn a stamp when you purchase a drink.
At the end of Irish Week, we will have a drawing from the passports with the most stamps. The winner will be crowned “Mayor of The Irish House,” awarded a special prize and outfitted with a crown suitable for St. Patrick’s Day royalty. Best of all, the Mayor’s photo will hang on the wall in the pub!

Multi-instrumentalist Jacqui Sandor exhibits a soulful voice quality that blends well with whatever instrument or other voices that she sings with. Her soulful timbre and vibrato, distantly reminiscent of her New Orleans, fit straight in with her material whether it be a fine ol’ folk song or seamlessly harmonizing with her Irish Celtic bandmates.
7:00pm Céilí
Traditionally, a céilí is a social gathering featuring Irish music and dance. Dancing may be performed with as few as two people, as many as sixteen and may also be danced with an unlimited number of couples in a long line or around in a circle. Céilís at The Irish House is a big, fun party with music, dancing and drinking! Families, experts and novices are all encouraged to join in.

One of our regular musicians at The Irish House, Hannah take inspiration from genres ranging from Irish traditional to jazz to create her own sound. She plays a mix of traditional, originals, and re-imagined covers.

7:00pm Music with Crescent City Celtic Band
With their hearts in the glen and their feet in the bayou, this band sprang from a fun-loving group of musician friends. They take a diverse view of Irish music and play everything from traditional pub tunes and ballads, to modern Irish rock and pop, to American country, bluegrass and Cajun tunes with Irish ancestry.
9:00pm Award Presentation of “The Mayor of The Irish House”
A name will be chosen from The Irish House passports that have been stamped through the week and The Mayor of The Irish House will be awarded with an outfit and crown fit for St. Patrick’s Day royalty!
