CHOPPED viewing party!
Chef Matt Murphy was selected as a competitor for the 12th episode of this season’s Chopped, The Food Network’s cooking competition that’s all about skill, speed and ingenuity. A reality-based cooking series, Chopped is the show that pits four expert chefs against each other for a chance to win it all. Their challenge is to take a mystery basket of ingredients and turn it into a dish that is judged on its creativity, presentation and taste with minimal time to plan and execute. From canned sardines to yucca, these mystery ingredients are carefully selected to keep the chefs on their toes. Each chef gets three mystery boxes, one for each phase of the meal. After each round one of the chefs is “chopped,” so that by the dessert stage only two chefs remain to go on the chopping block. The chef with the most creative, presentable and delicious overall menu is declared the winner. Join us later this month as we catch the action and anxiously await the fate of our favorite local chef!
